As far as I am concerned, help is of great significance both to me and receivers. Here is my personal experience.
It was on a hot afternoon that I served as a volunteer collecting money for a badly injured farmer by selling newspapers. With a pile of newspapers in my hand, I walked along the street to find someone who would like to buy one copy. I tried, wearing a big smile, to explain my purpose to the passers-by, many of whom were generous and kind enough to give me more money than the newspaper cost. Eventually, the injured person received a timely operation with the money I collected and recovered completely.
Due to this experience, what I realized was that I hadn’t really come to help, but to learn that it isn’t easy to make money and get my messages across to people in the actual life, and but to improve my own understanding of life and the world. I’ve really benefited a lot from helping him.
